Cleaning Your Baby’s Stroller

It’s bound to happen. You baby throws up in the stroller. Has a diaper accident or hopefully some of his snack just happens to drip or spill all over said stroller.

However it happens cleaning up your stroller doesn’t have to be a huge headache.

Start by removing all the cloth parts from the stroller. These should snap or velcro off easily. You’ll want to wash these in the machine on delicate with no bleach. You want to avoid shrinkage. You can also wash them by hand in a mild solution. Air these items to avoid shrinkage.

Next clean the frame. It’s probably easiest to do this outside. Mix up a good cleaning solution in a bucket, take your stroller out onto the deck (or front porch, or driveway) and soap it down with a brush or a sponge. Scrub good in the crevices. Rinse it off with your hose and let it air dry.

When all is dry put it back together. You shouldn’t have to do this but every so often and especially after an accident of some sort.

Ah! A nice sweet smelling, clean stroller again.
