Baby Stroller Safety
Choose a heavier stroller than an umbrella one for your young infant. Babies that are unable to hold their heads up need the head support of the more substantial strollers. Or better yet choose a stroller that holds your infant’s car seat.
To keep your stroller from tipping over don’t hang heavy packages on the handles. Use the storage basket underneath the seat of your stroller. This will keep the weight low on the back of your stroller so it won’t tip over.
Make sure your stroller has a parking break. You never know when these will come in handy.
A weather canopy for a small baby is must also. Most strollers come with these. Keeping out sudden rains or harsh sun from baby’s delicate skin.
Finally make sure the stroller is easy to use. Will be comfortable for your baby. Is easy to maneuver or drive. Is also easy to fold and lift in and out of your vehicle.
