Keeping Track of Baby Recalls

It’s hard to know what to do when it seems that every day baby items are being recalled for one reason or another.
So how do you keep track?

Very Simple... Register your baby items as soon as you bring them home or receive them as shower gifts. That means the manufacturer will contact you to let you know when an item has been recalled or there is an issue.

Keep the papers that come with your baby items in a file.

Keep a list detailing out your larger baby items and the contact information. This means items such as cribs, changing tables, high chairs, strollers, car seats, booster seats, bouncy chairs, carriers and the like. You never know when you want to make quick contact. I’m so nice I made one for you. Download it in the Baby Printables section.

It’s really very simple to take this extra step to you ensure your baby’s safety. And by all means if don’t wait for them to call you. If you hear a story on the news or read it on a website take action yourself.  You can also monitor the recalls here at Infant and Baby Needs.
