Infant and Baby Needs

As a parent myself, I understand how frustrating it can be trying to find the best, and safest booster seat available. There are so many to choose from, all of which claim to be safe, but it seems that safety can sometimes take a back seat to, ease of use, or length of use. This is where I get frustrated. I don't care how easy it is to install, I don't care if it comes with cup holders or pretty colors, I want to know if it's SAFE! Now I know I'm not the only one that feels this way, so I decided to do a little research and this is what I found.

Choose a heavier stroller than an umbrella one for your young infant. Babies that are unable to hold their heads up need the head support of the more substantial strollers. Or better yet choose a stroller that holds your infant’s car seat. 

It’s hard to know what to do when it seems that every day baby items are being recalled for one reason or another.

Did you know that you have to be extra careful when it comes to doing baby’s laundry? Don’t just shove it in with yours. If you regularly use perfumed detergents, bleach, or fabric softener, your laundering habits may need a bit of change when it comes to the precious little one.

You may find that a quality used crib or hand-me-down crib, as opposed to purchasing a new one, makes better sense for your household and finances.
