When it comes to little people (babies) they sometimes come with a lot of little things. These little things (especially clothes and toys) can get out of hand if you don’t come up with sure fire ways to contain them.
Make good use of the extra storage space in your baby’s nursery. Under the crib, the changing table shelves. Their clothes are so small most of the closet can be use for storage (we actually used all of it). Organize things out of sight in see-through bins and items out in the nursery in fabric lined baskets.
With baby clothing they growing so quickly. It is a good idea to only keep out in drawers and hangers what your baby is currently wearing. It may take a little thought but try to put the older clothing in storage. Sort it by size and label each pack such as; Baby Girl 18 mo. dresses.
The baby clothing they’ve outgrown you can give away or pack away for future use. If you give them away many charities are very glad to receive children’s clothing. And you can also earn funds on your well cared for clothing selling them on such sites as eBay .
The baby clothing that is a little bit larger than what they are currently wearing (we all have it) can be kept in under bed storage or a small storage bins in the closet. Pull it out as needed. Keep it in easy reach because you’ll be going to pulling out some often.
For baby’s toiletries keep them corralled in items such as a little basket, plastic tub.You shouldn’t have too many as baby’s delicate skin can’t take too much so store that diaper rash cream, lotion, baby shampoo/bath combination and diaper wipes together in a little tub out babies reach.
Since blankets in baby’s crib can be hazardous tack small quilts on the wall for decorative effect.
And how about those toys! Tons of them. Try to keep your baby’s toys to a minimum. People will give you toys so buying them will probably not be an issue. Even as babies they have favorites. Give the extra away and store away the ones for future use.
