Dressing Your Baby for the Cooler Fall Weather
When summer is on the way out and fall is slipping in for it’s short stay it’s sometimes hard to figure out how to dress your baby for outings. Some
days it’s warm and some days it’s cool and rainy.
So how to dress your little on to be prepared for any weather change.
Above all you want your baby to be comfortable. When dressing your baby think in terms of layers and breathability (cotton). Here is the simplest most comfortable outfit you can put your baby in for a fall day out.
- Short sleeved body suit: A short sleeve bodysuit
that snaps between the legs is the perfect base for all kinds of outfits for your baby. Since fall weather can still get rather warm a short sleeve one piece jumpsuit is the perfect base layering tool for baby. This keeps the diaper in place and allows baby to move with ease. Think of it as the undershirt for your baby.
- Long sleeved full stretch body suit: A long sleeve footed stretch body suit is another perfect invention for baby.Next up is your baby’s outfit. There are so many cute ones and since your baby already has on the jumpsuit your choices are limitless. Some things to be aware of is baby still can get into a few messes so easy on and off is key. Tops that snap on rather than button or just
- A hat: After all the layers a hat is the next thing you want to put on your baby. Baby's lose heat quickly through their heads and though you may think it's a nice breeze day out and want the wind in your hair your baby could be quickly losing body heat. Be safe and put on a nice cotton hat to match the darling outfit.
Since most likely you will be carrying baby around and have a cotton blanket with you not much else is needed...except that extra change of clothes for unforseen messes!
